Intermediate Woodworking: Guided Open Studio

Adults

This course offers those with beginner-to-intermediate woodworking skills a flexible, open studio format in which you can work on independent projects in consultation with a master craftsman. (For those with no experience in the wood shop, consider Fine Woodworking Basics.) The instructor will offer consultation and encouragement throughout the course as well as four dialogue-driven workshops on adhesives, sanding, freehand routing techniques, and wood finishing. The supply fee will provide each student with approximately 12 board feet of rustic cherry or walnut to use for his or her chosen project (the project can be decided upon after the course has begun).
