Woodworking I: Long Form

Adults

This class covers the fundamentals of woodworking, focusing on the properties of wood, wood selection, project planning, joinery, and finishes. Past projects have included toolboxes, side tables, and stools, all built out of solid wood. No experience is necessary, but students must be comfortable learning to use hand and machine tools, including a table saw, band saw, jointer, planer, and router, with instruction on safety and proper usage.
