Richard Marcus, president of the board of trustees, and The Contemporary Austin cordially invite you to the second annual Art Dinner, an evening celebrating the most recent acquisition to the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria, Tom Friedman’s Looking Up.

The Art Dinner is the culminating event for a larger opening weekend for The Contemporary Austin, including the opening of Robert Therrien at the Jones Center.

Auction

Unique artist-created stand-up paddleboards headline a benefit auction to support The Contemporary Austin. Through exhibitions, commissions, education, and the collection, The Contemporary Austin engages audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Featured Artists: Andy Coolquitt, Liam Gillick, Jim Hodges, Roy McMakin, Angelbert Metoyer, Tom Sachs, Marianne Vitale.

This auction, hosted by Paddle8, opens April 23 and closes at 2P CST, May 7. The Paddle8 auction will culminate at the Art Dinner on May 9, starting at 8:30P CST, with a live auction led by Sotheby’s with Paddle8 in attendance. Find out more:
