Art Dinner

Thank you to all who joined us for Art Dinner 2019! Please save the date for Art Dinner 2020 on Saturday, May 9. For more information on how to be involved, please contact Sarah Schultz at events@thecontemporaryaustin.org.

Kathleen Irvin Loughlin, President of the Board of Trustees, and Valerie Armstrong, Chair of the sixth annual Art Dinner, cordially invite you to an evening benefiting The Contemporary Austin's exhibitions program.

On April 13, 2019, The Contemporary Austin will host the Art Dinner, an annual celebration held at the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria—with a spotlight on its growing collection and temporary works of art, and highlighting in spectacular form all of the museum’s efforts to transform this gem into a sustainable and accessible art-in-nature experience for all to enjoy.

The Art Dinner is the culminating event of a larger celebratory season for The Contemporary Austin, including exhibitions by Janine Antoni and Anna Halprin and Abraham Cruzvillegas at the Jones Center, and the opening of the Moody Pavilions and arrival garden sculpture by Jessica Stockholder at Laguna Gloria.
