Lise Haller Baggesen aims to locate the “mother-shaped hole in contemporary art discourse” with Mothernism, an immersive installation, book, and audio text that draws inspirations from feminism, science fiction, and disco.

Join the artist for a reading from and signing of her book and a conversation with Registrar & Assistant Curator for Special Projects Julia V. Hendrickson.

Artist Talk will be held in the Driscoll Villa, limited seating available. Books will be available for purchase with discount for Members, and Sister Coffee will be on site selling coffee and handmade ceramics.
