Curator Talk: Richard T. Walker: the predicament of always (as it is)

View Richard T. Walker's newest commission, the predicament of always (as it is), then hear from exhibition curator Rachel Adams about the making of this video installation, in which the artist took on the roles of filmmaker, musician, poet, interpreter, and explorer while filming in dramatic Southwestern landscapes.

This curatorial talk examines how the myths of the American West and art historical traditions depicting sublime landscapes have inspired the British-born, San Francisco-based artist. Adams will also discuss Walker's previous videos and performances in the context of the artist's ongoing investigations as a faceless character who addresses the human condition in the vastness of the landscape.
