This action-packed cyberpunk spectacle depicts 23rd-century New York on the brink of cosmic destruction. The human incarnate of the Fifth Element (Milla Jovovich) holds the potential to save or destroy humanity and unlikely heroes, a cabbie (Bruce Willis) and a dandy futurist (Chris Tucker), protect her from an intergalactically slick villain (Gary Oldman).

The Fifth Element is a unique sci-fi pop adventure with costumes by Jean-Paul Gautier, dazzling special effects, and stunning photography.

Directed by Luc Besson, 1997, 127 minutes, PG-13.
