Pride Party on the Roof

Free and open to all ages

Join us for a celebration of Pride and Austin’s LGBTQIA communities, presented by The Contemporary Austin, The Q Austin, Kind Clinic, and Mouthfeel!

All are invited to stop by our Congress Avenue museum during the Austin Pride Parade for creative art making, music from local queer DJ Mouthfeel, complimentary snacks and signature drinks, and lots of glitter, in partnership with Equality Texas, Out Youth, TGQ Social, and Equality Vodka.

This is a FREE, all-ages event that celebrates diversity, individuality, and self-expression in a safe and affirming space. View art in the galleries and dance on the rooftop alongside gay artist Jim Hodges’s spectacular installation With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress)!

  • EXPRESS – See art in the galleries, then go up to the rooftop for our glitter bar, body paint, and creative art-making station.
  • ENJOY – Music and open bar courtesy of Equality Vodka get the roof raging while you enjoy the best view in the city to watch the parade.
  • IMMERSE – Get sweaty and dance on the rooftop with a few surprise performances, and get a closer look at the art on view.

In-kind support for this event kindly provided by Equality Vodka, Primizie Snacks, Chameleon Cold-Brew, Hubert’s Lemonade, and Topo Chico.
