Teacher Workshop: Ongoing and Outdoors

UPDATE 4/11/17: This workshop has been postponed due to inclement weather this evening. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please stay tuned for information about a possible rescheduling!

Laguna Gloria is an ever-changing outdoor adventure. Explore the newly installed works by a range of artists, including Anya Gallaccio and Terry Allen, and gather inspiration throughout the journey.

Create a work of art in our studio with a range of natural materials and age-old processes. Discuss ways to integrate outdoor adventures into your teaching setting as a source of inquiry, curiosity, and art making.

By attending a workshop, educators will earn a half-day substitute reimbursement and a school bus reimbursement.

For more information or to RSVP for this FREE workshop, please contact Emily Cayton, Educator for Teachers and Docents, at ecayton@thecontemporaryaustin.org.
