The Contemporary Austin offers two unique locations for a variety of events. Laguna Gloria is a historic landmark site with lakeside views, beautiful natural grounds, and strong ties to Texas culture. The Jones Center on Congress Avenue is a stunning contemporary venue in the heart of downtown Austin, offering skyline views from the Rooftop and close proximity to many Austin hot spots.
Laguna Gloria provides the perfect setting for many memorable occasions. An award-winning location for ceremonies and receptions, it has been named one of the best wedding venues in the country by Brides.com and the Best Wedding Venue in Austin (2015) by The Knot, as well as featured on publications and blogs including Style Me Pretty and Austin Monthly's 2015 Wedding Guide. The Italian-style Driscoll Villa and the expansive grounds allow for a variety of events, from weddings to corporate gatherings.
If you are interested in viewing the location, you are welcome to schedule an appointment with our Rentals Department, Monday through Friday during office hours, 9A–4:30P. Guests are also always welcome to visit the museum during regular open hours to become familiar with the site.

The Jones Center offers a unique, contemporary setting ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate receptions, workshops, and meetings, with a stunning open-air canopy that offers protection from the elements. This historically and architecturally significant building was renovated in 2011 by acclaimed architects Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis. Paul Lewis of LTL Architects also led a renovation and expansion in 2016, with the debut of the brand-new Moody Rooftop.
The Roof Deck at the Jones Center is 3,000 square feet and includes a built-in bar, optional 20’ x 11’ screen, bistro tables, and a panoramic skyline view and protection from the elements with an open-air canopy and the option to utilize weather-proofing curtains. This space is ideal for seated dinners, film screenings, and cocktail receptions.
The Community Room at the Jones Center is a fully A/V capable space overlooking Congress Avenue. With a seating capacity of up to 70 people, this space is perfect for lectures, meetings, workshops, and press lounges.
